Family:
When he was younger Joshua had a very tight nit family, his farther was a Diplomatic Representative for the Federation, and although he spent most of his time away from Earth he kept in constant communication with his family. Joshua's mother made a discission to sacrifice her love for frontier medicine in order to raise a family on Earth, she is currently one of the leading specialists at Starfleet Medical. Joshua also has two sisters, one twin sister who is serving as an Operations Officer, and a younger sister who is a 4th year cadet.

Academy Record:
Joshua treated his first year at the academy like he treated everything, a party, he was more interested in the sporting and social events than his studies, which was all to apparent in his grades. Unfortunately this trend continued into his second year, until he decided to play a prank on one of his fellow cadets, Joshua altered one of his friends rock climbing holo-simulations, while making the modifications he unintentionally corrupted some of the safety protocols resulting in his friend sustaining sever injuries. Joshua was suspended for a full year, and was allowed to return on the condition he began acting in a mature fashion. He spent the next three years doing little but studying and graduated 6th in his class.

Personality Profile:
Joshua is generally easy to get along with, but has changed alot since his earlier years in the academy, and will make friends easily. He has a cool head and works well under pressure, and has proven he has the ability to lead, both on away missions and when required aboard a vessel. He is honest, reliable and hard working, and not easily distracted while on duty, but loves nothing more than unwinding after a shift with a couple of drinks in the company of friends.
